Following on from our AGM in August, it has become clear many people are not aware of exactly what services the Post Office in Barham provides. The shop has to subsidise the PO because the commission paid by them does not cover the cost of the salaries of the paid staff. The more customers use it, the closer it will come to paying for itself. Even buying a stamp helps.
The following is a comprehensive list of services offered:
Posting letters/parcels standard first or second class post, with a signature on delivery (signed for) or via the trackable guaranteed service also with a signature on delivery (special delivery).
Posting letters/parcels abroad via standard airmail, surface mail or tracked/signed for services (services vary depending on destination country).

Posting letters/parcels via “Drop & Go” suitable for frequent posters/companies.
