Many of you enjoyed Lily’s cakes, Unfortunately Lily, aka Sarah, has decided to cease supplying retailers but the good news is that we have found a replacement whose cakes are every bit as good as those from Lily’s Emporium. The baker in this case is another Sarah, Sarah Walker who has started a business known as the Flour Jar and has done so to rave reviews. Her cakes will be in store from mid-November. A visit to her Facebook page will have you drooling
in anticipation.

We also have gluten free cakes, tarts, local bread and ice cream from “the Gluten Free Tarts”, who join the band of Barham bakers who provide us with authentic artisan products – Paul and Danielle (Baps & Bloomers), Simon’s Crunchbox sourdough bread and Ellen of flapjack and granola fame. From slightly further afield we have Simply Fruit cakes baked “from the heart” in West Stourmouth.
