Are you ready for Christmas? There are plenty of gifts and food ideas on offer in store this festive season and we have expanded the variety of items available to suit a variety of tastes. The Maidstone Distillery range now includes Kipsi Rose gin and a gift bag of 3 miniature gins. Boxes of luxury chocolates aplenty including the vegan Booja-Booja chocolates suitable for those on a dairy free or plant based diet. Hot Chocolate Bombs make a lovely stocking filler and if you need some help making a Gingerbread House, we have kits available to save you a bit of time and effort.
Tins of biscuits with different designs make a super gift and the tins make a useful decorative keepsake long after the biscuits are gone. Stöllen has become a firm favourite with our customers so this year we have different flavoured stöllen bites, delicious with a cuppa. And of course, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without mince pies!
Don’t forget the range of Gift Cards and Vouchers available from the Post Office, perfect to post for those further afield. Thank you to all our customers who have started to prepare early with their post to avoid the last minute rush. Having everything ready before you get to the Post Office counter is key, so please do your best to be prepared and we will aim to be as efficient as possible to keep waiting time down at this busiest time of year. Our volunteer ‘Elves’ will been hand to help out.
We are so blessed to have such a dedicated group of volunteers and staff who keep the shop open for the benefit of our community. As a token of appreciation, the management committee are hosting a Christmas lunch in the village hall during December, some time aside together to celebrate another busy, fulfilling year.
