We are delighted with how popular the seasonal Christmas goodies were as indicated by the quickly clearing shelves and the sales results for December, the best ever by some margin. Valentines Day approaches and we have plenty in store for the romantic among you, both local and regular brands. A variety of valentines cards, fine sparkling wines and prosecco (some already chilled for that last minute purchase!); local toiletries, fresh flower bouquets along with a substantial range of boxed chocolates including plant based. We are currently sourcing a new local range of chocolate confectionary and hope to have that available for that special someone too. We’ll keep you updated on social media.


Pancake pans at the ready, Shrove Tuesday is on the 21st February and an opportunity to reignite those tossing skills! We have everything in store to make the batter and options for savoury or sweet fillings too. What’s your favourite? Traditional lemon and sugar or something more exotic like chocolate and caramelised banana? We have all the ingredients you’ll need for that perfect pancake.
Now in mid-winter and endeavouring to keep warm, why not try the range of soups we have on offer, there’s something for all tastes and diet. You might be thinking of a trip to sunnier climes to escape the worst of the British weather. Don’t forget the Post Office offers some great services for travel. Euro’s are always available and if you need other currency, just order by 2pm and it can be collected next day after 1pm.

You can also apply for a travel multi-currency card and make top ups at the post office counter. The Post Office relies on the use of these and other services to create the commission that helps fund the Post Office to keep running.
